US immigration under Biden has taken a refreshing shift toward real humanitarian and cavalier diplomatic responsibilities, which were deplorably missed from his predecessor. In an era when Germany under Merkel summoned waves of refugees into the European heartland, the stance to completely deny and stick one’s head into the sand in defiance appears quaint and reactionary.
